About Stuart
Stuart was born in Las Vegas, Nevada, and raised in Scottsdale, Arizona. He studied Music Education at the University of Arizona and Ottawa University, and earned a Master of Music from East Texas A&M (formerly Texas A&M-Commerce). Driven by a deep passion for both education and music, Stuart has dedicated his career to education as a band director at the secondary and higher education levels, shaping the next generation of students and musicians.
Currently, Stuart serves as the Director of Product Management for Ultimate Drill Book, an innovative EdTech software company, where he plays a key role in developing cutting-edge solutions for the music classroom. He is also the founder of Integrated Effects, a visual design company that collaborates with band programs nationwide to elevate their performances and productions.
After starting a family, Stuart and his wife Rachel relocated to Frisco, drawn by the district’s outstanding reputation, commitment to excellence, and student opportunity model. As active Frisco ISD parents, they are deeply involved in the community, supporting organizations like Fastpacs, Frisco Threads, the Frisco Education Foundation, and the PTA, where Stuart serves as the Arts in Education Chair. Their commitment to local causes and education reflects Stuart’s dedication to making a positive impact in both his professional and personal life.
